Write to me of happy endings
Don’t tell me things don’t
work out
Every body needs a fairy tale
I’m still writing mine
It’s that little girl inside
me
That keeps tugging at my
heart
See her running ever smiling
Looking forward feeling smart
No one told her life’s a
tragedy
No one warned her of the pain
No one said hey you’ll be
sorry
No one said you’ll cry in
vain.
Life has many roads and
detours
You’ll get lost at every turn
All the signs have been
adjusted
All your lifelines may turn
to stone.
You may meet a good Samaritan
You may find your way somehow
You may travel down the right
road
You may never lose your way
There’s no way to say which
way
All the bends and roads may
go
Keep your little girl inside
you
She is tougher than you know.
